By Air

The closest airport is London Heathrow.  There is a bus between LHR and Oxford.



It is also possible to reach Oxford from London Gatwick


By Train

CES Oxford is located in Wheatley, a village on the Eastern side of the city.

From London Paddington or London Marylebone, take a train to Oxford Station then jump on the 280 or 400 bus to Wheatley






By Bus

From central London, Oxford is a journey of about 1.5 hours. Intercity coaches leave from Victoria and Marble Arch in central London



Locally, buses 280 and 400 will get you to the school from Oxford city centre

Social Programmes

At CES, we want you to learn about the culture and people you are living with while improving your English at the same time. Our team of 'Yellow Shirts' organise a whole range of activities, events, and excursions for you during your time here.

  • Organised sports afternoons / evenings (there is a sports centre near the school)

Some social activities are free, such as movie nights / afternoons and trips to museums. Other activities may incur small expenses. For example, students should buy their own drinks during the pub nights. Most weekend excursions are not free and are not included in course fees (unless otherwise stipulated in group packages). and are pay-as-you-go.
