Cathy Gaulter-Carter
Assistant Director of Studies- Oxford
Cathy qualified as a teacher in 1981 with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. She began her career teaching English at Swan School in Oxford, where she worked with teachers who were piloting Raymond Murphy's English Grammar in Use. She gained a Diploma in English Language Teaching (DELTA) in Oxford and later went to teach for International House in Spain. On her return to England, she became an editor and worked for Thomas Nelson and the BBC. She has taught in a variety of schools and she loves meeting students from all over the world. In her free time she is a keen cyclist and environmental campaigner.
