Study and Work Programme – ILEP approved courses
CES Dublin is delighted to offer the Study and Work programme.
What is the Study and Work Course??
Study and Work programme is a visa programme specifically designed for non-EU students who would like to improve their English level while working part-time to make a living in Ireland.
This type of visa can be attained for the period of 8 months (35 weeks) and can be renewed twice.
The total duration of immigration permission for a new student attending language courses
is 2 years (i.e. 3 x 8 months).
A standard Study and Work programme package includes 25 week course therefore students can have additional 10 weeks of holidays that they can use during or after the course.
During the studies, they are able to work for up to 20 hours per week. During holiday period, they can work for up to 40 hours per week. (Please note full time work must fall in months of June, July, August and September and from December 15 to January 15).

These are ILEP approved courses.
Students from non-E.U countries may travel to Dublin and get their visa on arrival
or in their own country if that is what the legislation is.
Students must take at least 25 weeks course of Standard General English
and CES is able to offer class either in the morning or afternoons.
Both, as mentioned above, have ILEP accreditation.
Standard General English (SGE) Morning
Our Standard General English classes in the mornings have a better nationality mix and offer more
hours per week. Class times for from 09.00 - 13.00 with a 20 minute break.
CES teach at 6 different levels. This is a 20 tuition hours per week course.
Students must have a minimum attendance level of 85% to be eligible to work and extend.
The (SGE) Afternoon
The class times for the afternoon SGE course are 13.45 - 17.00
CES teach at 6 different levels. This is a 15 tuition hours per week course.
Students must have a minimum attendance level of 85% to be eligible to work and extend.
There is a less of a nationality mix in our afternoon classes but they do have a more economic price.
Right to Work
All students attendting the Study and Work (ILEP) course have the right to work.
Students are allowed work part time during their studies (20 hours per week) and full time
during their holidays. The designated holidays are between June - August and December.
Students taking holidays outside of the date range above are not allowed to work.

Students must have at least an 85% attendance record.
CES is the IELTS exam test centre for Dublin so we will arrange your exam (this is requirement of the Visa process) with you during your 1st two weeks in CES. Yo uwill have the choice of either IELTS or Cambridge First / Advance exams.

CES offer a varied social and cultural progarmme each and every week. We also offer sessions on interview techniques, C.V preparation, English for Interviews etc.
