Run over either one or two weeks in locations in Ireland or the UK, our teacher training courses have a strong emphasis on cooperation and collaborative learning. Course Aims
This course seeks to assess participants before arrival and meet their language and professional needs. By the end of the programme, participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Develop practical classroom skills
- Improve English communication

Please note that a minimum of 5 participants is needed to run a specific course. Should this number not be reached two weeks before the course start date, participants will be contacted regarding their available options.

If you need self-catering student accommodation, CES can offer a range of residential options depending on location and availability.
Our social and cultural programmes help participants experience local culture while improving communication skills outside the classroom.

In Ireland, classes run from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm, with a break between 11am and 11.20am. Cultural sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2pm and 4.30pm. Our Teacher Training Courses are 25 hours in total, as per the Erasmus+ requirement.
In the UK, classes run from Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 13:00 with afternoon classes Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays between 2pm and 4.30pm.
Apart from the cultural on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have an extensive social programme for the rest of the week, which is displayed weekly in all buildings. All Teacher Training Course participants are welcome and encouraged to join these events and activities.
We ask that all participants have a minimum level of B2 so that they can fully benefit from the course.

Yes. It is possible to move to a General English class suited to your level. Please remember that the minimum level requirement for all Teacher Training Courses at CES is B2
Yes. Each participant will receive a certificate detailing the course hours and dates on the final day of their course.
