With our English Language and Activity Homestay Programme, your group will get high-quality teaching and real-life local experience with full board homestay accommodation included. They'll take classes in the mornings and every afternoon, June to August, they’ll enjoy an action-packed programme of sports, activities and cultural visits in their new home city.

Course Details

Morning lessons focus on developing core language skills, with particular emphasis given to speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session. Role-plays, AV technology, project work, and task-based activities will develop communicative skills. An entry level test will be held on the first school day and an end-of-course certificate and student report is provided.

Full board homestay accommodation with packed lunch is included. Your group will also enjoy a supervised sports and activity programme, full and half day excursions, one disco per week and 24/7 pastoral care.

Designed for beginner-level students and above, your child will take 15 hours of tuition per week with each lesson lasting 45-55 minutes. You can expect to have 12-17 students in your class.

How will you decide which class I will be placed into?

A level test will be sent to you in advance of your arrival. This will assess your grammar, writing and speaking skills and is used by our academic teams to place you in the most appropriate class.

Social Programmes

Students will get plenty of opportunities to improve their English outside the classroom, through our varied and diverse social programme. They will take part in various on-campus activities, as well as immersing themselves in the culture of their chosen destination. From museum visits to sports afternoons and everything in-between, they are sure to be kept busy. 

Our weekly social programmes in each location generally consist of:

  • Orientation tour of the city
  • One half-day tour to a place of cultural significance
  • On-site activities after class on the other days (e.g. sports, arts & crafts)
  • One international disco
  • Optional evening activities
  • One full-day excursion (on weekends)
