Over just a few months, your language skills will grow more and more every day, giving you the confidence to use your English in real-life situations.

If you are taking the Intensive Course, afternoon classes start at 14:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, finishing at 16:00.

What time does the school building open?

Our school buildings open at 08:30 Monday to Friday and are not open at the weekend.

Will the classes follow a textbook?

Your lessons are developed by our academic team and are designed specifically to meet your needs. Every week, a programme will be posted up in your classrooms so that you will be aware of that week’s learning goals.

Your coursebook will be added to your invoice at the time of booking and you can collect the textbook at the school reception.  It will be used to provide structure for the lessons.

How will you decide which class I will be placed into?

A level test will be sent to you in advance of your arrival. This will assess your grammar, writing and speaking skills and is used by our academic teams to place you in the most appropriate class.

Will I be able to move up or down levels during my stay?

We offer a system of continuous assessment during your study and at the end of each week our academic team will discuss which students should move to a different level in order to maximise their language experience.

If you feel you are in the wrong level, speak to your class teacher or to the Director of Studies.

Hear from our Students

"The 30+ class is important because we are at different places in life. When classmates are older, working and have children, it's more comfortable for us. We can talk with people our age about topics and issues that are relevant to our lives”

student Mohammed Al Qallaf

“It was pleasure to study at the CES, because I learnt a lot of thing that's going to help me in studying at the university, my teachers were amazing and very kind, also knew how to make students feel excited during the lesson.”
