Advanced Methodology: Take the Next Step  

Course Overview

In this course, we will look at a number of critical areas essential for the development of an experienced teacher. The course is based on the Equals Teacher Development Framework, which provides a clear step by step journey in the development of the required teacher competencies.

Course Aims

The aim of this course of to encourage critical reflection on key teacher competencies and create self-development pathways towards professional growth. This course will hope to afford teachers the opportunity to reflect upon this practice and experience and seek to create logical bridges in competency.

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for teachers who have at least 5 years’ experience. We will incorporate a range of reflective exercises so some experience is essential.

What is in this course?

In this course, we blend practical and theoretical tasks. Once we have reflected upon our needs and interests, there will be a number of input sessions on pedagogy from which the next stages of our discussion can begin.
