Inda has been a teacher of English for the past 17 years. Over the years, she has worked with many learners from a variety of backgrounds, both here and abroad. She started her teaching career in Kenya, East Africa where she worked for the British Council in a variety of roles, namely as a; teacher of English, IELTS examiner and professional development trainer.
Much of her work involved working locally and regionally (mainly Sub-Saharan Africa) to deliver training to the public sector and corporate organisations. In the UK, she has delivered General English and IELTS preparation classes here at CES, and has quite recently worked for Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds on the International Foundation year programmes teaching Academic English.
She has a CELTA, a Trinity Licentiate Diploma and a Masters in TESOL. She also holds an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner) certificate. At the moment, she is working on completing the OET (Occupational English Test) training programme. In her free time Inda enjoys, educative reading, learning about different cultures, spirituality and the mysteries of the universe!
